Course Keeping an Art Journal at the national Library

ORANJESTAD – The National Library of Aruba offers the course ‘Keeping an Art Journal’ to creative persons who like to explore the form of expression.

The course starts on June 14, 2019 and has a duration of 7 weeks. Registration is possible via info@bibliotecanacional.aw

Sessions will be hold on Friday afternoons from five to seven on the following days:

  • June 14
  • June 21
  • June 28
  • July 5
  • July 12
  • July 19
  • July 26

The fee is Awg. 125,00

What is an Art Journal?

An Art Journal is a diary where people keep ideas, images, make  experiments, make new compositions, experiments with material and colors, paints, cut/paste(collage), use all kinds of materials and techniques to create something one likes. You can also writ in it, with a combination of texts and images. Instructor for this course is Mrs. Lilly Peterson. For more information, you may call the library at 5281589 and ask for Gina.
